Just about 64 y/o - and I'm getting close to where walking is becoming problematic. I walked, carrying my bag, 18 holes twice this year and I was really tired at the end. But, I still carry that chip on my shoulder about power carts, I've never liked them, so I like to throw my opinion around on the topic. Golf is a whole different experience when the round is walked. Finding golfers who walk in the state of Michigan is pretty rare anymore. Even The Walking Golfers Society has fizzled out: https://thewalkinggolfer.com/.

The Tom Doak course at Forest Dunes, The Loop, opened as a walking-only course. That didn't last long, they now allow carts and I find it highly doubtful that anyone walks that gem today. https://youtu.be/a2K2vuczh2I

Heck, you're young! Let a surgery go bad for you like happened to me when I was 57 and I wound up with a paralyzed foot. Four years of physical therapy got me back on the golf course, and with the help of a riding cart and a leg/foot brace, I managed to play golf until this, my 78th  year. So, what, is age the only thing that's making you need a golf cart? Think about that. Now think of all the guys who would give anything to play a round of golf, but they're too old, or seriously ill or even dead. Riding in a golf cart is not the biggest problem you're going to face! :dunno:

I decided to make a change to the bunkers. What do you all think?

I'm also preparing for mass planting of short stuff and then Ron is going to see if he wants to tackle the bigger stuff. I think he'll do a great job considering what he has accomplished on other courses he has worked on with me.

I'll have a beta version available maybe next week.

For those interested I had another HD crash and am having to rebuild my stuff for APCD.

Such is life with this stuff.........................

Sage,
Just a thought.....
I have been having a problem with APCD with crashes, with one crash resulting in not being able to use the allocated version of APCD.
I opened a new version of APCD and checked the number of verts on the course. (Glenn and Linkster posted previously regarding the maximum number of verts, being 515-520000, I believe.) My count was 517000.
I simplified some large areas and since then I have had no further problems.
As I said, just a thought.
:cheers1:
Ian

Edit

When will I learn. Saved, and had an "ACCESS VIOLATION". :wallbash:

Hello,

unfortunately I cannot play this course. I've tried it several times and it gets stuck while rendering.
The whole PC is blocked, I have to do a reset, the game I started cannot be continued.
All it takes is a restart Win10.

First crash - Hole 1 second shot, second crash Hole 4 second shot. For me it's the approach shots to the green where the PC hangs up.

Otherwise it looks good, the greens are also easy to read.

Greetings Titus
