Sage, I also have a copy of Windows 7 that I bought for $110. I tried to load it on the day before Microsoft support was supposed to end for Windows 7 so I could have a dual boot PC, but Microsoft would not authenticate it during the install procedure. My problem was there was no one to complain to! Now I've got a $110 coaster, since the last return date had already passed!

To each their own, but Windows 10 DOES NOT suck... runs great!
And if the next Win 10 update stops Links 2003 working what will you say then???
This is EXACTLY what happened overnight to every single person playing PGA 2000 on Win 10 and what could happen to Links 2003 tomorrow.
For a long period PGA 2000 would not work on Win 10 for anyone but I have since come up with a fix to make it again playable.
A fix however is not always possible when Win 10 kills a program. It's highly, highly unlikely anyone could ever get Links LS 2000 to work on Win 10 for example. Great attempts have already been made.
I have two drives one Windows 10 The other is Windows 7 Links works great on both OS.I only use Windows 10 to update it so I am up to date just incase I have to use it in the future , then I go back to Windows 7.I find the meter just a wee bit faster on Windows 10 but it works great all the same.
