There was a fix for having to insert a disk to play Links. I think it involved replacing the RUKSHUK.exe file. Anyone remember what it was? Thanks!

Unzip it to your Links 2003 folder and overwrite.

I totally re-installed the game and applied all the patches to it before starting Links 2003 up. I was able to start the game, create a player, and even managed to play a couple holes in which the game seemed to operate fine.
