Links PGA Tour 2026 - U.S. Open

Welcome to the "Links PGA Tour" where we simulate the conditions of the PGA Tour. **We select the green speed and Pin positions with the courses we have in the data base, to give you the feel of playing along side the Pro's. ** All holes are played from the back tees.

Just a heads-up Thomas. Linkster is also working on Royal Birkdale.

:clapping: 2026 U.S. Open - 1st Rd - Pin Position

We have had a last minute change in courses.I'm not fond of changing at such a late date but the pro's outweighed the con's.
On the pro side, The greens are shaped like the greens are today not of 2011. The pin locations have been updated and the course overall length has been increased.
Over on the con side, the rough and deep rough are not as penal as the 2011 version (I hear you crying), so recovering will be pretty easy.
We are playing a more accurate course than before, but we have no practice round on it.
I would suggest you play a round before playing your "official" tournament round.
With that said...... Have Fun and Good Luck guys ;-))

Difficult.

I had already downloaded the course and had a couple of practice rounds.

Perhaps a bad omen was it crashed on first loading on my desktop.

I could not make the fairway on some tee shots.

Warning do not go over the back of the 1st green! It is very easy to go over the back of the greens.

A 73 from me.

It is very easy to drop shots but hard to pick them up again.

Linkster has done a good job on the course.

I'm honestly not sure how, but I shot a 68. It seems to me that this course plays exactly how it's supposed to in real life. The greens are diabolical but didn't seem unfair. If you hit a bit short, they roll back; if you hit a bit long, they roll away down the back. I did birdie the first. I reached the par 5 5th in two from the grass and managed to putt off the green and had to "save" a bogie. I made what seemed like a lot of par saves, and somehow managed to birdie 16 and 17.

Well played gentlemen.

I have only played one round, (Ballyneal), in the last two weeks and it showed in my round today.
I seemed to leave 80% of my approach shots well short. Front nine 1 over, but I must have tired on the back nine, scoring 4 over.
Therefore my round was 36/39 for 75.
I thought the greens played very well - at least the ones I reached.
