Today I had two practice rounds, and it made no difference
I agree whole heartedly with the observations of Des. This course for mere mortals is very hard.
I had my fair share of luck - hitting a tree and bouncing into the fairway, hitting to the green and reaching it, when I should have chipped out, etc..
Going out, I had birdies at 1,2, 7, and 8 with bogeys at 6 and 9. Coming home I had birdies at 10 and 17 with a bogey at 15 and a dreaded double bogey on 18.
My second round score was 32/36,
68.
(I doubt that I will make the cut, but I think I will play the next two rounds because I enjoy this course. Thank you Dorse and Danny D. Adelade, you have a wry sense of humour judging by some of the pin positons.
