I managed to extract the stock panoramas with a roundabout way a few years back when I wanted to turn one of them - here is a download link to them all: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/azkix89r ... fofrg&dl=0
Main Courses made: Amedal (fict), Nine Bridges (real)
Other: Austin, Sheshan, Kauri Cliffs, Le Golf, Shadow Creek Updates: Whirlpool, Royal Lytham, Royal St George's, Chicago, Chambers Bay, Munchen Nord E
Working on: 2 fict courses + some things...

Gentlemen,
I have tried to match my ocean texture to the panorama and vice versa, and I cannot get the match.
I will leave the texture as it looks on the screen shot.

Thanks to Stephen, Colin and Adelade for your time and effort. :tiphat:

Unfortunately due to my memory problems I can't remember exactly what I used to do to match pano and texture colours but I know it was a pain! I'll write what I think I did anyway:

first take a screenshot of where they join. APCD and Links 2003 display colours slightly differently so I think it's important where you take the screenshot from, and it makes sense that it is the game, not APCD. I then created a rectangular mask on the texture of the screenshot ending exactly where the two meet. I would then tweak the masked area on my paint program writing the exact changes in numbers down each time eg. brightness up 1.7, saturation decreased by 3 etc until the masked area exactly matched the pano area. I would then load the texture into the paint program and make the same exact changes to the texture. In theory they then have to match perfectly in the game. They may not perfectly match in APCD because of the different lighting, but that does not matter. Hope this helps.

Lez,
Thanks very much for your reply.
I have spent many hours trying to tweak the colours and I have decided to stay with the image I first posted.
Thanks again Lez for your time, it is always appreciated. :tiphat:

I no longer have APCD or Links 2003 installed, but testing your screenshot in my old Photoshop I think I could get a reasonable match though it may not be perfect because I wouldn't be able to test it in-game. If you want to send me the texture I'll give it a go.
