Absolutely, go to LSPN.net! Occasionally new people have a bit of difficulty getting responses there. If you don't mind I'd like to introduce you in a forum post and give them the url to your site. I expect that they're going to love the work that you've done. Go ahead and register for the site and the post I'll do will precede you.

I did the introduction at LSPN.net's Forum. Now, I installed a new animation, Will Zalatoris, but he seems to have the "not holding the club in his hands" problem. What thread is speaking about this?

Well Pete,

I created an account at LSPN, but I can't get the site to send me the email activation email. I've asked it to resend it 4 times and I've received nothing. I've checked spam by the way. Nothing. Any help you can give me getting my account registered so I can actually post?

Also, FYI, evidently the site thinks BigSexy is inappropriate so I had to modify it to the more Swedish (German?) version of Big Seksy. If I have to keep that spelling I'm definitely going to say it with some sort of accent. LOL. Think like a mash up of Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery.

You will receive a response, JC. It will take some time probably, but I made a post introducing you. They are switching to a new server for tournament play tonight, so that's probably receiving all the attention.

Hi Sexy-trust me we're always interested in anis.

I'm going through the tutorials and hopefully will work things out!

BTW, a Nick Taylor, Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes (Maybe Brooke Henderson) "Team Canada" (you already have the others) would make my d'eh! :naughty:

Pete,

See below, which is earlier in this very thread.

There are roughly 20 anis where the clubs and the hands don't perfectly line up. If the ani is 6'3" or taller or 5'8" or shorter than the issue occurs. Admittedly, it looks ridiculous at certain angles, but I'm anal retentive and I couldn't stand seeing Brian Harman (5'7") and Dustin Johnson (6'4") be the same height in the game.

The clubs and hands didn't bother me that much as it had no impact on the game play. However, I did recently find that the 6'3" and 6'4" guys had some graphical clipping on some of the courses where their heads smeared all over the screen because they were too tall. While I could tolerate the hands/clubs issue, I couldn't tolerate the smearing so I'm in the process of fixing those. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to reduce the height of the 6'3" and 6'4" guys down to 6'2" in order to resolve the issue. The good news is that the hands and clubs issue will be way less noticeable when I fix that group of anis.

As for the hands and clubs not aligning on that group of anis, I have been trying feverishly to fix it. I've changed the angle of the clubs, the length of the clubs and the combo of the length and the angle and haven't had any luck yet. There has to be a way to fix it so after I get pissed off from failing for a few days, I step away until I'm in a better mood to get back to the grind.

Until it's fixed you will have to deal with the hands and the clubs issue. Because it's such a small number of anis impacted, I can probably count on one hand how many people would ever even use those anis to notice it. I'll let you know after I fix the super tall guys and have a new version to download. I'll also report back if I get a fix for the issue.

I'm finally getting to do more players than Big Sexy (although he's been pretty good for me so far).
Just to confirm that I need to put each of your apparel files (shirts, pants, etc. into their own sub file of PoliAni and then I'll be able to dress my roster in any combination of pants, shirts, hats, etc.
I did it with clubs a long time ago.
And what are the golfer and shirt animations? I hope that the golfer swears, throws his clubs and rips off his shirt, but I think that I may be asking too much!

Jimbo,

Best way to swap clothes around step by step.

1. Unzip any of my anis or clothes packs into their own folder on your hard drive. This should give you many folders already organized out by golfer or apparel type (shirts, pants, etc.).
2. Launch the GolferUtilityBMP.exe and open the golfer/ani (.L3 file) that you want to change apparel on.
3. Let's say you want to replace L_S01_HAT01_01, L_S01_PANTS01_05, L_S01_SHIRT01_07, L_S01_SHIRT01_CLR_07 and L_S01_SHOE_01 with different items from a different golfer or one of my apparel packs.
4. Create a new folder called Jimbo's golfer (or whatever the hell you want to call it) and copy the replacement files to that folder. You will have to make sure they are named L_S01_HAT01_01, L_S01_PANTS01_05, L_S01_SHIRT01_07, L_S01_SHIRT01_CLR_07 and L_S01_SHOE_01 so they replace the correct item so rename them if necessary (it more than likely will be necessary).
5. In the golfer utility go to Archive and then add files. Navigate to your Jimbo's golfer folder and add those files and then hit the save button.
6. Open the golfer in Links and you should now see the new items on the ani.

To anyone that wants to change golfer apparel and is intimidated by the Golfer Utility,

I don't want to sound condescending or insulting by any means when I say this so please don't take it that way. The golfer utility is about as simple of a program to use that has ever existed. There is absolutely nobody on this site that should feel intimidated to use that program. Swapping out apparel and giving your ani a new look should be done by 100% of people that play Links (yes, that's my opinion). I challenge anyone that hasn't used the utility or is afraid to use the utility to follow the steps above and swap out some stuff on their ani.

Now, keep in mind if you are using one of those old crappy anis from way back in the day then my apparel will look backwards because you had to reverse all the shirts for those anis. That's the reason I've switched all mine over to the new Sergio (S01 model). That's not a knock on the animasters either. All their anis are incredible, but the old hatless, visor and shorts wearing anis were much harder to deal with than the Sergio model and I'm certain they would agree with me. The face file for the Sergio model is also 30-50% larger than all the older models, which makes the ani look more realistic/better.

So, grab any of my 250 sergio model anis and go to town at swapping things around.

I've attached pics of what my anis folder, apparel and an individual ani folder contain on my hard drive.
