Another spelling mistake in the "leaderboard hole by hole" section, it says leaderbAOrd instead of leaderboard..
I hope it's not taken too badly or embarrassing to bring up these errors. My bad if it's the case...

Re: Links Virtual Tour 2024!
Hi Nikko,
I will fix all the spelling errors. Thanks for finding them.
As for your error you get, it really depends on perhaps what you had set up at that time. It works fine for me and probably for others.
If you PM me, I will give you my email address and you can send me a copy of your files and I can take a look at it.
I will need the files located under your tour folder. You should see 4 files there, I will need 3 of them. I will need all but the LVT Cup file.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Links Virtual Tour 2024!
I'm sure that it's been mentioned elsewhere (maybe by me-the mind wanders)...but if you're playing a real tournament the PGA website will show you pin placements and tee boxes for every round of every tournament, going as far back as 2012 (if any of you are planning a 13 year career.
Here's the link to last year and you can go back from there.
https://www.pgatour.com/schedule/2024
I'm working on 2022-23 and just won the Hawaii Open (it's a Canadian thing...)

Re: Links Virtual Tour 2024!
I did a little more research and discovered that pin locations for all tournaments EXCEPT THE MASTERS change from year to year. Fortunately the PGA website has historic records INCLUDING ROUND-BY-ROUND PIN PLACEMENTS going back over 10 years...so I guess you can start your career any time.Jimbo wrote: ↑December 17th, 2024, 6:26 pm I know that pin and placements change every round but do they remain the same each year? I know that Augusta does but I'm looking down the road and placements tend to be a bit of a PITA (i think you know what that means!)![]()
I've tried Googling but just get the same answer about daily updates
Any help would receive the thanks of Nitpicker (ret.)![]()
It's more work but if you're a stickler (which I imagine a few of us are)...

Re: Links Virtual Tour 2024!
Nikko,
I did some research and I feel fairly certain the problem is you have a Excel set to European, which means for numbers the comma and the decimal usage are switched from the US usage.
There are two options to fix this..
1. You can open a new Excel file and switch the settings to American. Play using LVT, then open a new Excel file again and switch the settings back.
2. I develop a European version of LVT that has the decimal and comma switched, plus I can use Euros instead of USD sign (I will not convert the money values though).
It is very easy to switch the settings. However, ensure you switch them back when done, else all your other Excel files will now be in the US format as well. If you want to try this, let me know and I will email you how to do it.

Re: Links Virtual Tour 2024!
Thank you a lot!! I prefer the first option. I prefer change each time I need the settings.
I ´m gonna make a try and will tell all of you if it works
