A bizarre one checking the registry entries I have no display settings for links 2003?

This has always worked for.me (desktop/dedicated video.
You can probably skip steps 2 and 3.

Hello,
once you have installed the game correctly and got it running, there are 25 entries in the registry for Links2K3!

If there are fewer, the game has been installed but does not start yet.
The settings at which Links2K3 runs on a PC depend on many factors.
OS, GPU, onboardGPU, directx, monitor, Windows monitor settings etc.
unfortunately it is a little different for every PC.

I do it in this order - follow these steps in order.

1 Install game Links2K3
2 Install patch Links2k3_107_Final.exe
3 Install patch Links2k3_nvidia_win7_FINAL
4 Only copy or replace RUKSHUK.exe, do not run it!
5 start and pray (afterwards you have to start the game more often)

This is the copy of RuKsHuK.exe (contained in a .zip) that you want to use (replacing the one in your /Links 2003/ directory). It does away with the need to insert a disk in order to run Links2003.

Houston we have lift off not 100% how but think maybe the pesky administrator stuff in the properties but it's working thanks for everyone's help guess that's why it's a great forum
