It's surprising how young many athletes die; I was shocked to find out Claude Provost died at 50. Gotta love Google, 30 seconds after you croak they've got it posted.

Sorry to hear about his passing. I watched the "golden jet" play when I was a kid and after. I got to wear number 9 when I played hockey in high school because that was his and Gordie Howe's number. Goldie passed away a few years ago. His slap shot was legend. I think he had one of the first curved sticks. He was fun to watch. His son Bret was also a hall of famer.
