ADMINISTRATOR

Post by Jimbo »

My Links is installed on my Windows 10 laptop but won't run unless I'm the administrator.

1. How does one become the Administrator?
2. What, if anything can go wrong?
3. I have a couple of hundred courses. I'm hoping to simply "plug in and connect the 2 computers and do a BIG transfer. Is this the right way? :bookh:

Jimbo right click on the Links Icon and pick run as administrator.

Next time I would not install Links to the default Program Files directory, assuming that is the case.

I got it installed on my Windows 10 laptop and hooked it up to my big old screen.
For those of you who may be getting the annoying "Insert Disc 1" error message REMEMBER TO INSTALL PATCH #7!!!

Now 5he fun part begins...installing all my old discs and files...I might be asking you about the course converter...we'll see.
