Old Head from 2011 era

Post by sagevanni »

Hi All,

I have a question.

Eric Dorsey kindly let me look over his Old Head APCD course he did back in around 2011.....I think.

I have looked it over and it's awesome...!!!!!! Far from being complete by Linksters standards today, it is ready to be worked on and I would love to...!!!!!!!

What I need to know is this...............this course is NOT up to date per the new course layout and I am not going to update.

Do you Linksters want me to bring it to life as is...??????

Sage.......
If there is one thing ................ummmmmmmm.......I can't remember.

Simple answer

When I beta tested for Black Horse (course design group) they kept talking about how beautiful it was and they have to do it.
Now maybe we'll finally see it.
Thanks for taking it on. :tiphat:

to clarify again, I DID NOT do Old Head, nor did I touch it. John Pineda designed that WAY back in the day, about 2003 or 2004, gave it to me as he was burnt out on APCD. I never got around to touching it as it was a big job with the cliffs etc. no topo info to work off of either at the time. John was a great guy but many emails from me went unanswered, so I finally let it go.

Yes, Sage. I would like to see a version in its current state. I am also using it to help me learn the APCD. if I can learn how to use all the tools, I would like to modify it to more closely approximate the course as it is now, but that's just a dream right now. I hope that's not a problem with you.
