Re: Planting mystery

Thanks Lez. I didn't use the % removal tool, but I was using the forest tool on the course. So I definitely think its use is related to this somehow, now you mention it. The wierd thing is that the unplantable areas appear as squarish. They don't seem to have anything to do the shape I was using to ...

Re: Planting mystery

The final word. It keeps coming back as new random sections of the course suddenly become unplantable (or what is planted is gone or replaced with garble). At least I have now discovered that it only ever happens when I save a copy (either save, save as or validate) at the time when I have all 2D ob...

Re: Australian courses

Hey Sage Scaling and extruding later can be a little painful, so I always try and add in initial extra verts (in the "corners") wherever I can. I sketch out whatever part of the building I am working on by hand with all the measurements. But no matter who much planning - there's always alo...

Re: Australian courses

Another thing - this is why I believe that Linkster has totally changed APCD-design for RL courses. These "undulating bits" (see pix) are everywhere around the Sydney green complexes and previously each one would have taken countless hours just to get close to being accurate, even with a 1...

Re: Australian courses

BTW, congrats to the Lions...I remember the "bad old days". Even the Suns are coming to life! As far as "bad days" are concerned I hope that the Bombers didn't make matters worse by singing their song after that "effort" against the Eagles! :fear: :fear: Just...

Re: chain link fence

I am using the chain link fences alot. Might be doing it wrong, but is there a reason why I seem to only have limited "post" options (and none that seem to suit a chain link fence)?

Re: Australian courses

Hey mate Definitely singles pieces, for me, for something this big. I try to keep them in the largest pieces possible, but it's just not feasible to try a do something like this as a single entity. Just don't use the rear entrance to this clubhouse (still a construction zone where you can't see :smi...
