Re: LVT Tutorial Overview
3, If I want to add some extra shirt file from what they have at Links Animasters and they constitute a new file do I have to delete one of the existing files, rather than rename it? In other words, is there a limit to the number of shirts I can have? (i own quite a few shirts from real courses tha...

Re: Windows 8.1 vs. Windows 11
frog, Here is a link to the program that has helped numerous people work past the Intel integrated graphics issues - https://www.linkscorner.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=788. We avoid using the actual name of the program on this site as it has caused issues with, I believe, the host of the foru...

Re: Returning to Links
Cervantes, For many of us (myself included), high DPI scaling caused a myriad of issues when installing Links on machines that have higher screen resolutions (pretty much any computer that benefits from the 1.07 patch). Overriding this behavior resolves many of them and it is quite easy to do and ea...

Re: File Locations Google Doc stopped working?
Adelade, if that doesn't work, try this: Links 2003 - File Locations v1.1.xlsx It is Armand's file saved as a stand-alone Excel file (no need for the web once on your PC). I saved it this way several years ago in my continuing fear that files like these on various sites would someday disappear (reme...

Re: Returning to Links
Cervantes, If you had to manually create the '[wherever you installed Links]\PolyAni\clubs' folder and the '[wherever you installed Links]\skies' folder, then either you haven't installed the 1.07 patch or you didn't install it into the same folder as you installed Links as those 2 folders (and poss...

Re: Burke Lake Par 3 texture resolution question
Quick database related question for Doug Hurst regarding his Burke Lake Par 3 courses: the beta (crz #2227) from 2015 is listed as version 2003T (hi-res textures) and the final (crz #2743) posted today is listed as version 2003 (non hi-res textures), is that correct? TIA I'm pretty sure the BETA di...

Re: Burke Lake Par 3 texture resolution question
That's why I posed my question to the designer - Doug Hurst. It seems a little odd that the final would take a step backward regarding textures from the beta.
And thank you, Andy, for keeping this site running!!

Re: Texture Blend
Derrick,
All of the blends from one texture to the next in that image look very realistic. The transparency of the water as it comes to the shoreline so that we can see the shoreline dipping below the waterline is really nice!
