Re: Monument Golf Club
Was it intentional to change the water from reflective to the flat blue in v.2?

Re: Links 2003 current state of affairs with AMD / NVIDIA cards.
Note there are still some residual issues outside of that: Windowed mode, no anti-aliasing, white polygon spike from the golfer's ankle. I found a workaround for getting anti-aliasing to work in windowed mode, you just need to fire up Links 2003 in windowed mode and then alt-enter to go into fullsc...

Re: Links 2003 current state of affairs with AMD / NVIDIA cards.
Good news for AMD Radeon NAVI and better card (5500XT and upwards) players! With today's 21.1.1 driver they have re-implemented anisotropic filtering in Links2K3 so we look great again! Been waiting a while. :) Note there are still some residual issues outside of that: Windowed mode, no anti-aliasin...

Re: 9 Hole Courses
Thanks Jimbo, I was here on the prior iteration of the site too and have been Links-ing since the DOS days. :) Though, prior to about 2016 I was unaware of the great work others had done on Links courses beyond Microsoft's own releases. So I've been collecting and playing all the top tier user desig...

Re: Higher screen resolutions than 1920x1080?
Yeah, I just moved to a 1440p panel as well and tried going beyond the current registry mode 15 setting to no avail. 1920x1080p setting will mode switch the panel down to that resolution causing a softness/blur that isn't overcome by sharpening in the GPU settings either (AMD). I now run the largest...

Re: Wondering if I should get new monitor
Refresh rate for Links 2003 isn't really important, with its lack of movement. Bear in mind though that Links 2003 tops out at 1920x1200 resolution fullscreen (1920x1080p more common), so if you buy a 1440p monitor or higher (4K) you will not be running in that native resolution when you kick off Li...

Re: Links 2003 current state of affairs with AMD / NVIDIA cards.
Unfortunately, it looks like Links 2K3 is still not working 100% with AMD NAVI generation cards and current (6/7/20) driver 20.5.1. I picked up another 5600XT card on the news it was working; having returned my prior for a 2060. This is an XFX Thic III Pro and with anti-aliasing on you get a white s...
