This one never made it out of BETA, but would be a good candidate for your tournament play:
Chestonia Hills
The embedded sound files are kind of annoying though.

Re: Best Par-3 course
I would recommend Shadow's Run , it may or may not be the "best", but I sure like it. The first hole starts you out with a 250 yard shot, so your fairway wood requirement is met! Here is the full list on the Courses page: https://linkscorner.org/courses/index.php?SearchType=Par3 If you fin...

Re: Chicago GC (message to Sage Vanni)
My bad-Sage has done the "Regular" course-the one that has one Par 3 over the water and the other Par 3 over the marsh-or junk-or whatever. Since it's July 1-Canada Day-I'll do the appropriate Canadian thing and say I'm sorry. :naughty: And it's still a long trip from 18 back to the clubh...

You can get Windows 11 as a BETA download if you are in the Insider Preview program.
Do NOT install this on anything but a virtual machine though! You've been warned. :)

Re: Rolling Contoured Courses of Unpredictability
Sorry, I meant the "Define Hole Path" command which makes a shape that looks very much like some of the holes on those courses.

Re: Chicago GC (message to Sage Vanni)
My only other observation is about the actual club itself...it's a bit of a hike from the 18th green back to the clubhouse. Perhaps you are referring to the Black Forest at Wilderness Valley course which is south of Gaylord, MI. I've played that (Tom Doak) course a couple times, the last time I wal...

Here is #16 from the back of the green looking towards the tee. Tough hole.

Re: Chicago GC (message to Sage Vanni)
As for Forest Dunes, Sage has done the "Black Loop" course Wait, the course you're talking about here is the reversible, "The Loop", a new design by Tom Doak (Black is one direction while Red is the other). The course I am referring to is the original 18, still called "Fore...

Re: Rolling Contoured Courses of Unpredictability
There's a risk to playing some of those courses though, I recently played a round at both Africa Park and Clueless Hills . Holy smokes, Batman those were both dreadfully bad. Many/most of the holes had the default shapes that the APCD generates for you. The probably just did that, threw in a handful...

Re: Windows 11
In a way, I cannot blame M$ for cutting off support for older machines. I've heard some interesting stories about the kind of things they have to do so that old apps or hardware will still work. Most of the BSOD errors you see on Windows are probably from [old] drivers that have bugs. When those cra...
