Re: LIV
Adjustments will have to be made. If you look closely at Sam Snead's wins, you'll see that many of them would be discounted today. Or check out the PGA Tour beginning in 1916 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGA_Tour ) . LIV may fold completely (plenty of parallels in hockey, football, etc.), or eme...
Re: LIV
I see that on today at 1 PM Eastern time by a tv station called CW. With shotgun start seems to be where announcers have a mess on hands to talk about as regular tournaments have leaders start play in final group from first tee on last day and unless some player shoots real low in final round from o...

China spying on and trying to steal the venerable secrets of American golf course design! :scared: :fear: Now thats just crossing a line! Mao decreed in 1949 that golf was an elitist decadent game. He died in 1976. By internet search see that AP designed a course there in 1989 and Nicklaus ...

Re: Do the Greens "dry out"
Only in the 3 seasons of Links career mode featuring original MS courses was it possible that conditions changed during a certain round of the tournament. There would be a warning that conditions had changed. Other than this---NOT POSSIBLE.

Re: Retirement
I'll see about getting it playable in game for you. It would be interesting to get a comparison of real life and "in game" accuracy with a LIDAR terrain. With the many humps and hollows it would be impossible to tell a minor difference here or there. Kind of looks like Pine Valley, but wi...

Re: Retirement
I'm not an APCD person. I would love to see it done. Played TR in real life many times. What a layout. I'm going to play Wentz's other course in the Asheboro, NC area. Tot Hill Farms. Another great layout. The designer was the late Mike Strantz known for the quirkiness of his golf course design wor...

Re: Winged Foot West
Just had look at how course was set up for past U.S. Opens and PGA's where par has been at 70 previously. Holes #5 and #12 were played as par 5's whereas saw when playing that hole #9 is way longer than those par 5's. Hole #16 was played as a par 4. Also the 2006 version played to a par 70.

Re: The History of Miniature Golf
Also known as Putt Putt. Started out in Fayetteville, NC 1955. https://puttputt.com/our-story/ Many great days and nights played when young as had lights and there were arcade buildings along with snack food to eat. Games in 60's cost roughly a dollar to play then. I usually used my own putter as th...
