Re: 2001 Courses
Are you wondering if you will be able to open it after I install the fence, and then save it again with the fence still there? Hmmmm. Yeah exactly. Alternatively if someone were up for it, I could test it out myself if someone uploaded a clean stock APCD with the 2001 library already added to it. I...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
Oh and mainertodd, if you really care about using the GA, you could always try this if you want: -Start Links -Press "Quick Start" > pick any fast loading course that you think has low risk of messing up the GA > "Begin Play" -Instantly open the Green Analyzer. No issues? Good. C...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
Dan Helped me privately test my own course and he had no issues with the GA on it, with the two confirmed accounts from the two of you it indeed seems setup matters and dgvoodoo was the prime suspect. Now that I see mainertodd's test, it should be safe to say its confirmed. If anyone who uses dgvood...

Re: When is your Prime Time?
For me anytime of the day works, more about mood like Nemo said, but I sometimes avoid playing when I feel a little drowsy after meals or when my eyes feel tired, at least if I care about scoring well. Enjoyment of playing golf tends to be moderately linked to how one scores though, so..

Re: 2001 Courses
Dan are you able to confirm whether there are no problems caused by opening and then saving a course containing 3d objects that arent in your library? Asking since I will soon be needing help with the 2001 objects for a fence onto my course as I mentioned to you some time ago (and all attempts to ge...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
Still Linksing (and others), Sample sizes please of GA opened successfully with restarting the game in between? In my test with Wentworth West I successfully got the GA to work on it the first SIX times in a row, then the next 3 in a row were failures. Im willing to believe you, sounds like dgVoodoo...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
The weird thing is that the GA was working perfectly in Windows 10 before I tried dgVoodoo. But there were other, even more disruptive problems without dgVoodoo, so... :-) This makes me curious because this would destroy my current thesis. There are people who regularly use the GA who never ever ru...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
Another thing, occasionally the zoom out issue starts to occur but the camera stops on the edge of the green for some reason and becomes perfectly useable, moving on to other holes or courses without restarting the game seems to infinitely produce the exact same result. I've seen this happen on both...

Re: Green analyzer causing Links to freeze (and other issues)
I dont normally use the green analyzer, but I did a bunch of testing with it on a bunch of different courses, resolving to figure this out. I might test more tomorrow, but here's my results and conclusions so far. I wouldnt be surprised if other people would have the same or at least similar finding...

Re: Seeking advice for Seam Blends
Yea, I deliberately created this mess yesterday for example to try get it to look as good as possible  Mess.jpg I like things clean, neat and methodical so It didnt feel right or good at all! But I couldnt find any unnatural elevations or lies so it seemed ok enough. However today I came up w...
