Re: Game running in slow motion
The golfer and swing gauge were running very slowly for me the last couple times I tried playing a round on Links. This was pretty baffling as my laptop hasn't really changed since the last time it was working normally. That's where this forum comes in handy, there are solutions/ideas for all kinds ...

Re: New laptop advice?
Another thing to consider if you are thinking about a new laptop: get an OLED 4k monitor ! I did this on my last upgrade and, holy #(^&@ Batman, what a difference! The picture quality and colors are fantastic. The only trouble with this is that any other monitor/TV looks boring and muted now, I ...

Re: Clip Notes Course Reviews
Just discovered this list. What a great reference! It will help me discover new courses to play, which I am always doing (in Links and real life).

Re: What view do you play with..?
I have always left that setting as the default (Normal) and never gave it a thought. Now I'm curious, so I tried Closeup and I like it! Am switching to that now for a while (but will keep my poll answer as Normal). Tried Panoramic too and did not care for that, it felt too far away from the action. ...

Re: New Project
Pasatiempo would be preferable over Olympic/The CC IMHO.
However, can you put Pikewood Nat'l next in the queue after that? If you could pull off those limestone features, oh man, that would be sweet to play in Links.

Re: Peachtree Golf Club Beta
Ian, this course is great, looking forward to the final release. Played the front 9 in practice mode and found some things I wanted to mention: I can play from any of the water hazards. If I intentionally shoot into any of them, it will let me [Continue] and not require a [Drop]. This was true on #2...

Michigan Golf Courses on Links
It has been a long layoff from playing MS Links for me (very little to none between the mid-2000's and 2020) but it has been a pleasure returning to it. While browsing through my collection and looking through new releases in the last 15+ years, I am trying to put together a list of the courses avai...

Re: Course Database CSV dump
With well over 2000 courses in the list, it is kind of overwhelming to skim through it and look for a gem that I might not have downloaded or played yet. Since 2002 (or earlier) I have gathered about 500 and sorted into a couple of subjective, crude categories: 2001 vs. 2003 courses; better vs. best...

Re: Wade Hampton 2021
Downloaded and played Wade Hampton recently, awesome addition to my collection! Thank you. My approach shot came up short on #5 and landed me in a bunker. That's when I noticed that you can see some odd lines that need to be smoothed a bit. If you are working on the course to fix anything, you might...
