Re: Quintero Golf Club
After casually playing some practice on the course, the only thing left that I want to mention (here, rather than private as before) was that I think the "dry yellow grass 6" text (around bunkers) is a little too unforgiving. It's like hitting from a deep rough but dry grass like that on a...

Re: Shadow Creek Golf Course
Sage, your course choices lately have been PRIMO, you're on quite a roll with these LIDAR courses. Much appreciated.

Re: Greywalls Golf Course at Marquette Golf Club
Hole 6 is one of the most intimidating par 3 shots I've ever faced. Never knew about the secret tee - interesting.

Re: Greywalls Golf Course at Marquette Golf Club
Oh .. my .. gosh! Mega-thanks for doing this course, Sage. One of the top-10 courses I've ever played. Between this and Arcadia Bluffs, I will be in perpetual bliss with Links golf courses.

Any MS Links courses with a "Biarritz" green?
While browsing the Patrick Koenig golf photography web site, I came across this photo of the 17th hole (a 229 yard par 3) of the Fox Chapel Golf Club (a Seth Raynor golf course), which has a dramatic "biarritz" style green (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYyNtjve3Dk) and it made me wo...

Re: APCD crashing
When I'm writing code or making documentation if I lose even a few minutes of work due to a crash, I HATE that. At some point in the distant past I became so paranoid about losing work and being forced to remember stuff that came out of a stream of thought rather than pre-planning, I hit SAVE often ...

Re: Oak Quarry
Tried again and had to problems off the tee. No idea why that happened, glad it wasn't the course in any way.

Re: Makawee Creek golf club
The course has a nice look to it, I'd play it (i.e., okay to upload) Random thoughts after a quick gander at it: * Cannot see the green on #6 from the back tee. True, I use the Top Cam so it's not that big of a deal, but maybe you can lower the ground between tee/green so at least the flag can be se...

Re: Oak Quarry
Did anyone else notice that your drives on holes 15 and 18 won't go any further than 100 yards or so? I was playing a practice round, if that matters. Maybe the tee markers are partially buried so the ball doesn't tee up? This is another beautiful golf course rendition for Links. Thank you all for t...

Re: Identifying new longer tees as the back tees
migolfer, I am sorry but I am leaving the course as it is. Perhaps if I start a new course where I add tees, I will make them the back tee? I understand that it would be more logical for Back tees to be the furthest, but here is how I see it: Most players play the Back tees without making research ...
