Re: Courses I'd like to see in Links 2003 Part 2

With my Michigan bias at full steam, I'd love to see any of these: Crystal Downs (by Dr. Alister MacKenzie!) Greywalls (Mike DeVries course in Marquette) The Bluffs course at Arcadia Bluffs (right on Lake Michigan shoreline) The Bear at Grand Traverse Resort (Jack Nicklaus course in Traverse City) (...

Re: Easy Courses

Elite level!? I accidentally started a round in that mode and was horrified at how difficult that is. Forget it, I'm not trying to accomplish anything profound playing Links, it's just for enjoyment. It's the same reason I don't keep playing with persimmon drivers/woods in my real life game (althoug...

Easy Courses

While playing a Links course I have not played before, I found that it was really easy to get birdies/eagles and nothing over par. It has me looking back over others that I have played that are like that. There are so many where par's are hard fought to downright impossible, it's nice to play one of...

Re: Pinehurst scorecards

That's right, they did give score cards for some of the courses in the original Links boxes, didn't they? I used to have them, but looking in my collection (of several hundred cards from courses in Michigan and other places) I don't see them anywhere. Bummer.

Re: Augusta (Andrew Jones) I'm looking for course guide

The folder titled "Augusta Caddie Book" is empty. Yeah, I noticed that. Not sure what to say about that though, that ZIP is the way it came from this web site back then, I have not modified it in any way. Was it supposed to be empty? Did a later version contain the intended files? :dunno:

Re: Carrie Park Was a Treat To Play!

Thank you for the recommendation Jeff, I just downloaded it and will give it a try. I now have 568 downloaded courses and files dating back to 199x-something. =:-o

...update: agreed, it is a fine course to play. 4 out of 5 star in my book.

Re: Augusta (Andrew Jones) I'm looking for course guide

You're in luck, I happened to download those extras back in 2004...

The ZIP file should be available from this link: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Auq14o3lNwM4jENkcWm ... D?e=RjJqY6

Holler if it does not work or if there is a permissions issue.

Re: Laddleton Lake No. 10

Oh, I get it. This is supposed to be a 9 hole course but an earlier version of the APCD (1.1?) might have required 18, so they just stuck the back 9 in that one place in the woods. I realized this once I got to #11 and it put me in the same place. That explains all the tee markers. I did manage to f...

Laddleton Lake No. 10

While playing this course for the first time, it was smooth sailing until I got to the tee of #10.
Anyone see this before? Maybe I have a beta copy or something?

Re: 9 Hole Courses

Maybe I spoke too soon. Here are a couple which suggest they're just 9 holes. I'll check 'em out.
