Re: Apcd/ Windows 11 issues.

Colin, Very well said. I agree with you 100%. The lack of feedback does irk me somewhat, but without knowing how many times the courses are downloaded it's difficult to get too upset. (Perhaps there are only 2 or 3 downloads? ) Irrespective of members playing the courses that I build, I will...

Re: Maximum textures

Colin,
Is it possible to create the 3D objects with the textures included, outside of APCD, and then import the whole object?
Good luck
Ian

by morvio100 » Sun Mar 16, 2025 12:42 pm not bad Morvio100, I am overwhelmed. Dave, I am pleased that you enjoyed playing the course and good luck with the tournament next week. Sweetlake was my first attempt, and the only course I built while still working. I hope it plays well. Thank you, Ian

Re: Course crashers when opening in game

Sage, My initial thought was a texture problem as I sometimes forget to uncheck the RLE compression box. I changed all the textures below SGC_04 with Links2003 textures or textures that I used on Spring Hill, but the file would not open in Links. I'm afraid that I have no other ideas as to what is c...

Re: Spring Hill Golf Club - Final

Guitarget2019, Thank you, I am happy that it brings back nice memories for you. Actually, while test playing the course, it gave me a good memory. I made a hole in one on the 11th :cheers1: . (I have never had a hole in one in real life and it is many years since I had one in Links, and never on a c...

Re: Spring Hill Golf Club - Final

Pete, Thanks for your comments they are very much appreciated. I haven't looked at Barton Creek yet, but I will certainly consider it when I look for my next project. (Built in 1999 it's in the middle of his career.) As for the 2D images I think Colin has it pretty much covered with his latest post,...

Re: Spring Hill Golf Club - Final

Gentlemen, I am pleased that you enjoy the course. It was a pleasure to build. Ron, I find selecting a course to build very difficult. The main consideration for me is that I like the course visually, (which is the reason I have never built a links type course.) I am a big fan of courses designed by...

Sage,
Your resilience is awe inspiring. I would have thrown the computer away and taken up knitting.
Good luck my friend. :cheers1:

Re: It's Been Fun Boys

Big Sexy,
I hope PGA 2k25 brings you the pleasures that you hope for.
Just as you feel that APCD is too much of a learning curve for you, I believe that PGA 2k25 would be the same for me, so I will plod on with APCD. (You never know I may learn how to use it?)
Good luck. :tiphat:
:cheers1:
