Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

Post by Southcitygolf » Sun Apr 19, 2026 5:44 pm What type of swing do you play with and at what level? I also wanted to ask you if you ever watched the "Lessons" portion of the game. It can be very informative. I play Classic swing type at Pro level. I am sure I watched the lessons when ...

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

Guys, your scores are amazing. :tiphat: My best round of the week, but not yet sub-par, I made a bogey on the last to post a 72 . OOB on the 8th and two birdie putts short by 2 inches. Very pleased with a birdie on the 14th, which helped me come home in 33. My golf may be improving but the progress ...

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

I agree with Des and Doug, I missed so many short putts. Excuse 1 I putted with green putter when I meant to putt with the brown putter. Excuse 2. (Is there a way to make the brown putter the default? Other than getting the approach shot within 20 feet of the pin.) When I was in the rough, just off ...

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

Good to hear from you Des. I practiced my short game for a while before starting the second round. :bookh: 2 birdies, a bogie and a double bogey took me out in 37. Absolutely overjoyed. :clapping: Started the back 9 with a birdie to go even, what a simple game this is. In the water...

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

Get well soon Des. Sorry for my late start, dog ate alarm clock. I had a crash on 16 with an error too many textures? Unfortunately on restart, Links allowed me continue  . Today an 84 . Three times in the water on 14 didn't help nor did the gusty wind. On hole 3 I tried to putt from the fring...

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - RBC Heritage

Gentlemen,
Thank you.
Harbour Town was always one of my favourite courses to play when I first bought Links or whatever the name was in 1999(?).

I will try to have a couple of practice rounds before Thursday.

:cheers1:

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - The Masters

+10.
I over compensated for running off the greens yesterday and left everything short - except when I deliberately laid up.
8 GIR doesn't help, but I was more comfortable with the f/c green speed.
Thanks for the work you put in.

Re: Links PGA Tour 2026 - The Masters

Against my better judgement I played the third round and after 10 holes I was even par - 1xEagle, 1xbirdie and 3bogies.
Then it really was amen to all that. Double bogey on 11,12,13 and 16 with a bogey on 15, to finish on +9.
Sure to do better on the 4th round  .
