Re: So many courses...so much time?
Hi Adelade, the elevations were done from photos and some taped sessions of the WGC from a few years ago. The planting is there right now, I just turned it off for the screenshot. Currently, it's just forest-planted with a mix of trees from the designer. No custom stuff is in at all. Today, I change...

Re: 2001 APCD
Hi Sage, I think the 2001 version would be on the Links 2001 CDs. Geez, I may even have those lying around my house somewhere...and yes if I remember correctly they were .crz files too so they opened in Links 2003. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone here remembers way better than me. Hard to believe I've...

Re: So many courses...so much time?
Well, I've been all over the map the last couple days. Doing a little on Liverpool, little bit on St-George's and even dabbled in some Abu Dhabi and Sheshan. Plus I was in photoshop getting cameos and splash screens ready for Liverpool and Abu Dhabi. Adelade asked me about Sheshan on the first page ...

Re: Google Earth
Yup the tools of 2020 for a 2002 Golf Game!! You may also be able to find that the Google Walking Camera has browsed some courses. I accidentally came upon a 'walk-through' of Durban Country Club in South Africa. Someone walked the course and so can you! Needless to say I used it to design the cours...

Re: 3D houses
Blender is a free 3D program, very powerful. I've used it for other gaming purposes but never thought of using it for Links. A little looking around gave me the link below. I think Blender is up to 2.82 version. I'm looking to see if i has the same functionality....ie innate export ability, but a pl...

Re: So many courses...so much time?
I have been spending quite a bit of time on Liverpool since completing the Chambers pano for Sage. I'm hoping to get that out first. I'm aiming to have Hamilton and Abu Dhabi out after that. Jimbo...I may ship you a version of St Georges to play some rounds on. Do you care what state it's in in orde...

Re: 3D houses
It's amazing who you can find around these forums! Hi al...it has been awhile. A forum and many email addresses ago. Glad you dropped in to back up my bad memory! Did you ever finish up Muirfield? Your 3d work was very appreciated as an addition to the Lytham update oh those many years ago.

Re: Coming Soon-ish: Country Club of Harrisburg 2024
No problem! Yup I like the look of those bunkers. Well, at least there's no danger of a walking fatality in Links. That's where the 'teleporting' to the next shot comes in handy regardless of elevation!
