Re: Locked Courses
A "locked" course only affects someone opening it with the APCD Course Designer to make changes to the course. It has nothing to do with playing the course. Go to "Course Manager" and "Add" the course. Make sure the file suffix is .CRZ and not .ZIP!

Re: Decisions, decisions
The new Thompson version of Banff plays well at Fc Fc - the only speed I've tried it at where it isn't outrageously easy. Just FWIW.

"What's wide-screen mode? Surely you don't think I will play Links 2003 in wide-screen??? :scared: No chance. Spent years playing the old golf games and all other old games in widescreen. Best thing I ever did was go back to 4:3 for this stuff. " I hate wide screen playing links! The last...

Re: Chateau Bourrache?
My newest copy is 81 mb. Pete Pete, 81MB is a little generic. An exact conversion of 81MB @ 1,048,576 bytes/MB would be 84,934,656 bytes. Are you saying when you right-click on your newest copy of Château Bourrache crz that file properties reports the size (not size on disk) as 84,934,656 bytes? Ad...

Re: Links won't print a Text file
I don't know what caused this problem, but I fixed it so I thought I would post what I did. First, it's Windows 7 and it involves a HP Laserjet Printer and Links 2003. I uninstalled the printer driver, renamed "Links 2003" in c:\Documents\My Documents\ to "oLinks 2003" so it woul...

Re: Links won't print a Text file
Dan - On my system it's F12 for the boot menu - thats the way I go. I was going into the BIOS at first. S.L. - Running in XP compatibility mode, and as an Administrator - same as I did on my previous PC under Windows 7 - but I'll try all combinations of turning them off and pulling my printer USB pl...

Re: Links won't print a Text file
Thanks for trying, Daniel, but the printed files weren't there. Windows 10 is on a SSD and Windows 7 is on a HDD. I choose which one to boot with. It's the Windows 7 that isn't working. It doesn't write any .TXT files. When I click on the check-box for "print to text file" in printer setti...
