Glenn,
I think creating a new planar for the rough and using Select Face on the blends and using the All of Type button would make redoing the blends pretty painless, although I know how it is when you think you're almost done and find days/weeks more work to do.

I played a round in real time swing, firm (challenging), fast (challenging), difficult pins and thought the greens and pin placements were tough but fair. Great job on the course Glenn!

Here is a pool water texture I used in Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis. It came from Crow357's Buck Creek course textures he shared. I never did add any tennis courts dang it.

As stated above, 2001 won’t support hi rez textures and there is no seam blending. That to me is a why I wouldn’t advise using it. Seam blending makes all the difference in realistic looking courses. I can set you up with a download if you still want to try it out.
