I just read Gary McCord is talking to LIV about a job. Will McCord & Feherty make a comeback?

Re: 380 Courses released from John Brooks and Sage Vanni

I still think Sage has three clones and a procedural course generator.

Re: LIV

And yet the majority of the remaining PGA players seem pleased with the increased purses for next season. Is that all about greed too? It's easy to come up with names like DJ, Smith, DeChambeau, as examples of players who probably didn't need the extra money. But there are many on this list who are ...

Re: LIV

Sure, but it's on a level playing field, it isn't like one is on more morally high ground than the other. Almost every one of those players, both sides, has to decide what's best for him and his family. A trophy in a case isn't going to guarantee his son's/daughter's future. It'll be very interestin...

Re: A Few Limericks

There was a young man named Bright
Whose speed was faster than light
He left here one day
In a relative way
And returned the previous night

I had an entire book of Asimov's dirty limericks and foolishly threw it way. Hopefully a pdf will turn up somewhere.

Re: LIV

I wonder if all these "good guys" realize the irony of what's going on. They probably do and are embarrassed. They jump on the LIV players for chasing the buck, and then the PGA makes all these changes that ultimately result in bigger payouts -- which some of these same players had tried t...

Re: LIV

Yeah, Cantlay, Scheffler, Spieth, Hovland, and others aren't exactly bursting with personality, and of course Smith and DJ are already gone. If it is Rahm, he was one of the few left with a bit of fire inside him. They're calling Cantlay the Ice Man, more like Porridge Man in my book. And my opinion...

Re: LIV

Apparently another top-10 player is about to join LIV. They're not saying who yet, but after reading this: "It would appear the player in question has not taken well to the huge new changes made by the PGA Tour ahead of the new season, which starts this week.", and this: ""Been i...

Re: LIV

I think that on the whole, this is going to benefit Golf. Sure there's lots of lip-flapping going on right now (thanks, Billy), but the PGA needed a shake-up. Even the remaining members talk about how their own ideas presented to leadership were stifled, and the emergence of LIV has forced their han...
