Re: Sod Faced Pot Bunkers
Thank you so much! It'll take some time to get things dialed in, but I'm on the right track now. I'm very appreciative of the time you took to help.

Sod Faced Pot Bunkers
Greetings. It's been a while since I've been here (life happens), but I'm back at it and require some design assistance. I'm trying to construct pot bunker with sod walls. I'm following the "APCD from Start to Finish" guide, and...it's not working out. :wallbash: :wallbash: I'm not too wel...

Re: Kinloch Golf Club
Adelade the 19th hole is essentially used to settle the score and break ties, at the end of a round. It a interesting novelty, all played out in full view of the clubhouse. It's a nice touch considering the cost of the round! LOL I've put a few balls in that lake for sure! Due to its chokepoint loca...

Re: Kinloch Golf Club
Thanks. One thing for sure, I'm not rushing. I just finished Stonehouse in Toano, using it as a template for Kinloch, idea wise. It was a blast to play in person, but on the computer, not so much. Too repetitive. One thing I will do is upset the status quo; I ditched the par 3 5th (194yd). The succe...

Kinloch Golf Club
I've been tooling around with this metro Richmond, VA course pre-Covid and set it aside. After touring the grounds with a friend Mother's Day weekend, I decided to revisit it and possibly release it Spring 2022, making it my 1st course for public consumption. I've played the course three times back ...

Re: Real courses are blah
The beauty of Links is that one does not have to strictly adhere to the original design when replicating a real course. Revisions can be made to augment the design for computer play, which I don't see as a problem. I'm sure we've all experienced real courses that play way to easily, and fictional co...

Re: Photoshop Distortion from GE Image
Yes, you followed exactly what I meant, even if I wasn't entirely clear. I took your suggestion, and after playing around with Google Earth and Photoshop as directed, I finally got a clear, non distorted .TGA image that works well in APCD. The accuracy after scaling the image was more than acceptabl...

Photoshop Distortion from Google Earth Image
Working on a real course, I can good GE images for a golf course at approx. 3000ft, but each time I run the screenshots thru Photoshop (Elements 9), the image, once stitched together at 4096, becomes elongated and distorted in many places, which of course means when placed into APCD, the distances a...

Re: Help with APCD Object Library please
Weeler I feel your pain. I cannot for the life of me get Links Extender to work either. I have version 2 installed within the Microsoft Games folder. The program loads up, but every time I try to open a .crz file, I get the "please be patient, loading a large CRZ can take a moment" prompt,...

Dan, this makes perfect sense. Thank you for explaining this in a very clear, concise fashion.
