I am beyond astonished as I got links 2003 to work on my windows 11 desktop PC. The last time it worked was probably 4 months ago and I don't know why it stopped working. I gave up hope that I would ever play it again except on a virtual machine which was vastly inferior. I will go through the steps...

Thank you for the link but quite frankly that just blew my mind. I'm not a computer programmer and none of that made the slightest sense. The tinkering I'm trying now is the upper level of my abilities.

It is AMD Radeon 760M and 1920 x 1200 60 hertz.

So I've been thinking ( I know dangerous) that something is blocking Links 2003 from starting. That's why none of the suggestions are working. But what could it be? I have Bitdefender set to not scan LinksMM111 and to allow it in the firewall. What else could block it? Funny thing is I installed it ...

I think it was 1200 x 1080. If it was higher the screen was too big and edges were cut off. I have the registry mode at 14.

Thank you for your help. I disabled full screen optimizations and removed the .ini file. I had scaling at 125% because 100% is too small. I did change it to 100% for the game and it did start!
