Re: BLOSM Tool for Blender

Fantastic! Amazing! Congrats and thanks for doing this. I really enjoy creating 3D buildings in the APCD and I think I have some solid skills. Yes, it takes time. But now I know what I'm doing, it probably doesn't take me as long as people might think either. I have gotten a real sense of accomplish...

Re: New South Wales Golf Club

Only just returned from overseas. so will have a look again during the next week.
To be honest, I now think the "strip of texture" is a design issue that is not related to the wrapper.
I am hoping that the white bin on the 4th tee box holds the answer.

Re: Royal Sydney Golf Club

Amazing course! But... is it normal that black not-textured building at the beginning of Hole 9, or there's something wrong in my PC? (I play 1280x960 windowed and I put ddrawCompat v0.7.1 in game folder, if these informations help) Thanks for the feedback. Really nice mate. It is the gree...

Re: Having AI Build A Fantasy Course In APCD

RobV, What will it say to: "Can you design a real golf course using the Arnold Palmer Course Designer for Links 2003 PC golf game?" Ian Yes, it has an answer Ian, as it turns out. I just asked ChatGPT to help me build an APCD replica of the new course I have just started working on. I ask...

Re: New South Wales Golf Club

On a bus touring Tokyo. Excuse any typos! I gave a heads up about this on the download page. The effect appeared very late in the design. And around the same time I installed the new wrapper. But this may be a coincidence It’s similar to the effect of an errant overlapping vert. For the life of me I...

Hi Sage You deserve to take a break! Dell Inspiron 14 5410 14" Touch i7-1195G7 5.0GHz 16GB 512GB SSD 2-in-1 LAPTOP. I have a LG 32" monitor, which is vital for me, but it's nothing special. The laptop is about 3 years old and I run Windows 11 Home. I don't have any problems designing on my...

Re: New South Wales Golf Club

Loving the detail you guys are going to - thanks so much. I LOVE detail! I will act on all of it before releasing the final. Ron - thank you very much - yep, the entry to Botany Bay port is "just around the corner". Here's a photo from the official site - that's how close these huge cargo ...

Re: Wildcat course

The last time I couldn’t resist responding to something similar, the topic was closed down and deleted. Quite rightly too, in hindsight. So this time I say nothing other than: 1. Measured and balanced criticism will always play much better around here; and 2 I stand with the designer brotherhood; an...

Re: New South Wales Golf Club

 One of the great things about 2D windsocks Ian, is that they are always blowing in the right direction.....from some angle. Honestly mate, I did think about it. Thought about maybe using a windless (limp) windsock but that wouldn't work either if it was actually blowing (and it usually does ...

Re: Not ANOTHER chain link fence question?

Thanks, that works! The trick is to commence typing "3D" otherwise the folder will seem to be empty.
