Course History
This is one of the military courses at Eglin AFB in Florida. Eglin is located in the panhandle near Ft. Walton Beach. This is an area known for nice courses and this one is supposed to be one of the better military courses in the country.
Course Overview
This is a parkland course with very open fairways. It's a small download and there are no extras included besides a small read me file. There is no cameo, splash screen, hole previews, green fringes, first cuts, or panorama used. The planting consists mainly of fir trees and these were redundant. Textures are stock. The bunkers and water hazards were 'popped in' with no other work done to them. There are numerous bad edges, pulled verts, unrealistic elevations, and various other APCD mistakes.
Tips for Playing the Course
There are places you can get into that are pretty much impossible to escape because of the poor APCD work.
The fairways are generous and the course isn't long. It should be no problem for any type of player.
Favorite Hole
The layout is nice enough but there weren't any holes I could call a favorite here. The screen capture illustrates what you can expect to see while playing the course.
Overall
This appears to be a first timers effort here and it's not. This is a second try at a course. I haven't played the first attempt to my knowledge. I hope he reads through the tutorials, gets his course beta tested, and practices with the APCD before releasing another effort. I can't recommend the course in it's current condition.
