| COURSE NOTES |
Dooks is one of Ireland's oldest Courses, and regularly features in Ireland's top ten. It was founded as a 9-hole links course in 1889, increased to 18 holes in 1970, and updated in 2003.
It lies in a beautiful and scenic position on Dingle Bay alongside the Atlantic Ocean and from every hole is a view of Ireland's highest mountains, McGillyCuddy's Reeks.
"Dooks" comes from the Irish "Douaghs" - meaning "Dunes". |
