| COURSE NOTES |
This is a fictional wooded course designed and built by me and my imagination, located somewhere in the mountains of the northern United States. I will be releasing 2 versions of this course.
The Pro Course (Blue Flags and Splash Screen Lettering)
Northern Lakes - the Pro Course, is the easy scenic version. It has generous sized fairways and greens, and all of the par 5's are reachable with the right wind conditions. You should be able to shoot some pretty low scores on this course, while enjoying some beautiful surrounding mountain scenery, provided by our man Daniel Watson at Links Corner. Thanks Daniel!
The Championship Course (Red Flags and Splash Screen Lettering)
Northern Lakes - the Championship Course, is the same course, but has been tightened up a bit. Please note that I did not set out to "trick it up" and make it ridiculously difficult. That was not my intention. Only to tighten it up a bit to make it naturally more challenging and require better accuracy off the tees and into the greens. The added surrounding grasses in the deep rough is there for looks only and to make it appear more intimidating. Its properties will be set as "all pass through", so it will not have any affect on the shots. Plan and play your shots according to the lie icon...
I did not lock the courses. All of the textures used were provided by other designers, or created by myself. Anyone is welcome to look it over and use anything you need from it. Deep rough, rough, fairways, greens and tee boxes provided by Lez Marwick's, Ackerton Cross Course. Thanks Lez!
I want to thank Links Corner for providing the designers with a place to share their courses. Also a huge thanks for all of the valuable help from all of the designers at Links Corner that are too numerous to mention. Without their help over the past couple of years, I would have never figured this APCD thing out.

Some additional Notes Below...
Changes made on the Champ Course:
The fairways are narrower and re-contoured.
The greens are smaller and re-contoured.
Some of the bunkers have been moved closer to the greens and fairways.
All of the pins have been relocated.
Thick grass has been added to the surrounding deep rough.
Thick Bushes have been planted in the wooded areas.
The par 5, 14th green has been moved 25 yards further back into the lake.
DISTANCE MARKERS:
Every par 4 and 5 hole has a pair of 70 foot tall, fat pine trees on both sides of the fairways 280 yards out from the back tees. These trees are on the champ course only. The pro course does not have them.
WOODED AREAS:
The wooded "FOREST" areas play as either hazards, or out-of-bounds. Avoid them.
Course contains hole previews and handicaps.
For the most fun and challenge, try playing the course in the champ mode.
