First Impressions:
This course is set at the base of Whistler's Mountain with the expected pine trees used. The under planting here is thick but both the choice of under planting and pine trees is a little repetitive. The bunkers and water are of the 'cookie cutter' variety. They appear stamped into the ground and no texture was applied to the extruded terrain producing a noticeable red stripe around their edges. Some bad edges and pulled verts are apparent. The fairways are generous with no first cut of rough used. Fences are used around the lakes and flowerbeds are seen near the tee boxes.
Strategy:
The courses strongpoint is seen in the strategy involved when making your way around. Many elevation changes make club selection crucial. The greens are contoured but the putting here is not difficult. Many shots require long carries over water. The par 5's are mostly reachable with some good risk reward features.
Favorite Hole:
Par 5 18th. Driver-Driver required to reach this long par 5 in two.
