Hi, I'm Francesco, from Italy, and this my first attempt of creating a course for MS Links 2001.
As a regular Zone player, I've tried to design a challenging course to play together with all other virtual golfers I met everyday, but i think this course has become tougher that what I expected.
But, as they say, 'when the game becomes hard, tough players start to play' then I hope you enjoy The Red Fox Golf Course.

Course Introduction
The Red Fox GC is a fictional golf course set in a beautiful mountain settings (however the Whistlers Pano is kinda old..it looks great with this design).
This is Francesco first try at APCD design and I might say he did a masterful job being this is his first attempt at APCD! While the Back, Junior and Ladies Tees all play a very long 7,615 yards. this was an obvious mistake that was made by the designer..most of the yardage is in it's Par 5's which most aren't reachable in two shots.not even playing real time swing!
Red Fox was a very, very interesting design to play with variety of doglegs and some very interesting greens..Only wished that the Par5's where reachable in 2 shots .The Par 3's where very nicely done and a joy to play!.Planting was very well done for a first time designer...I didnt' experience any of the world famous concrete weeds for 2001 designs.
This design was very well planned out from beginning to end.an Excellent first design!!! This design should play very well for all skills whether you a clicker, powerstroker or a real time swinger. I noticed that most Holes only have one teebox..this must be a european thing...very rarely do course have just 1 teebox area!
A lot of the holes have that REAL feeling while playing this design..I had several holes that really caught my eye..especially Hole 17..Par3 with a semi island green.
While this is an outstanding first design from the Crazy Doctor from Italy.unlike most first designs released to the golf community, this course was very polished considering it never was made available for beta testing at LC..which if you don't know the right people beta testing doesn't give you the feedback needed anyway...I found several areas' with sharp edges and I question the designs need to place weeds so close to some of the greens..The elevation work was very well done, while the bunker work was average (no mappings).
I'm a reviewer that really likes the extras! These things give a design that real feel and a professional look

Not Included: Hole Previews, Hole Handicaps, Hole Signs, Custom Tee Marker or Flags
Course Overview
The crazy doctor did an outstanding job on his first APCD release The Red Fox..The layout is very challenging and well thought out and I might add well tested by the designer.I only saw a few flaws in this design.. I ,recommend this download for those who only have Links 2001
The shadow file is 12.3 mb for 2003 users...
It a very nice first design but this design is very ordinary by today standards..I can't honestly say that I intend to keep this design on my hard drive forever, but I will keep it for now.. Very well done Crazy Doctor!
