2003 crashes at start up

[wallyclan]

I've been running Links 2003 on my Gateway laptop 64 bit Vista. All of a sudden I get error messages so I removed the program and re-installed from my original discs. This did not change anything so I downloaded the demo version of 2003 from CNET and got the same messages. The first message is the following –

Looks like you might have 'msvcirtd.dll' missing or corrupt. Try googling it and you will probably be able to download it. However, be extremely careful of the sites you use to download......
